Experience of school improvement initiatives has taught us that schools alone cannot address all the factors that influence the life chances and achievement of young people. Research tells us that families and local communities have key roles to play in supporting and enhancing the work of schools.

The key aim of Achieving Derry - Bright Futures is to develop a coherent, sustainable and long term approach to raising educational outcomes in areas of high social disadvantage in the Derry City Council area.

At WELB Music Service we believe music making should be inclusive and accessible to all pupils, whatever their talents or background.
