How does it benefit me?
WELB Music Service Interactive is a unique eLearning library of thousands of instrumental and Key Stage 1-4 Northern Ireland Curriculum resources for use with interactive whiteboards, projectors and classroom PCs.
You can find resources connected to many areas of the curriculum and if you’re an instrumental teacher we are now offering interactive resources for most instruments.
Using multimedia resources engages children in new ways and they will respond with excitement and enthusiasm. All the resources are easy to use and can be a great way to get started with new types of activities such as singing and rhythm games that you may not have tried before.
For experienced music teachers it’s a way of expanding your repertoire and finding new ways to inspire and motivate your students.
Access to these resources is normally by annual subscription to the Music Service. However, this year as part of our ongoing program of support for music education in WELB, and thanks to funding from ‘Achieving Derry - Bright Futures’ this invaluable resource is absolutely FREE of charge to schools in the Derry City Council area and for use by all WELB instrumental tutors.
